Electrically Fused Aluminum Oxide Sand 36#/46# White Corundum Sand for Aircraft Skin Pre-painting Treatment is produced from fully smelted and crystallized white corundum fixed furnace material through processes such as crushing and screening. The particle size range of white corundum for sandblasting is strictly controlled to ensure the abrasive grains are within a specific range. Sandblasting produces a uniform surface roughness. White corundum has good toughness, strong grinding ability, and excellent self-sharpening. When blasted onto the surface of workpieces, it creates indentations through the impact of airflow. The passivated sandblasted surface enhances the adhesion of subsequent paint coatings. White corundum abrasive grains also offer high sandblasting efficiency and high utilization rates.
White Aluminum Oxide F36/F46 is made from 99% aluminum oxide powder as raw material, refined and crystallized through electric melting (hence white corundum is also called fused alumina and white fused alumina). The white corundum sand produced by our factory has high purity, low impurities, low sodium content, uniform particles, and high whiteness.

Main Performance Characteristics of White Corundum:
1. White corundum has a microhardness of 20.58 GPa, Vickers hardness of 2200-2400 kg/mm², and Mohs hardness of 9.0. It can be used for sandblasting on most metals, cast steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metal alloys, chromium/manganese/tungsten/molybdenum-containing metals, glass, and other non-metallic materials.
2. White corundum has strong grinding ability and high sandblasting efficiency. Due to its excellent self-sharpening properties, it does not cause burning or oxidation on the sandblasted surface.
3. White corundum can also be directly used for grinding, polishing, surface treatment, sandblasting for rust removal, etc. It is suitable for dry and wet sandblasting, surface polishing, and pre-spraying surface treatment and passivation.

Characteristics of White Fused Corundum:
1. Due to its good self-sharpening, strong toughness, strong grinding ability, higher hardness than brown corundum, and low heat generation, it can be used as a raw material for abrasive tools such as cutting discs and grinding wheels.
